My NYC residencies serve as the primary laboratory for the 'Coleccionistas y Melómanos' project. Here, the curation shifts between the grit of urban salsa and the sophisticated layers of global tropical sounds. These sessions are more than DJ sets; they are historical journeys through sound, utilizing high-fidelity equipment to bring the warmth of vinyl back to the city's nightlife.

Distrito Salsa

A monthly residency dedicated to the Golden Age of Salsa. Here, heavy percussion meets rare 7-inch pressings from the 1970s. Every track is chosen for its historical weight and sonic clarity, played exclusively on high-end vinyl equipment in a sophisticated North American / Latin American influenced setting.

Guateque Social

Exploring the broader spectrum of global tropical music. From Afro-Colombian rhythms to highlife and Caribbean rarities, this night focuses on the cross-pollination of urban sounds. It celebrates the 'Melómano' spirit, sharing rare archival finds with a discerning audience in a North American / Latin American influenced environment.
